Bonnington went away somewhere no one could find him. Lucy went around rattling his food bowl but Bonnington was nowhere to be seen. Then when Lucy shook the bowl again this time in the backyard, she heard a cat screaming in Mr. Bacon’s backyard. Luckily he was arriving home when Liz made had him unlock his gate and they saw Bonnington stuck in Mr. Bacon’s trap. Liz had him get rid of that trap, even if there where rodents to catch. David gave Mr.Bacon a hand in smashing up the trap. The next day Bonnington was treated like royalty. He got salmon and cream to eat and drink. He would have told everyone that David got him into the trap on purpose if cats could talk.
