David woke up the next morning to eat some breakfast. He was putting the milk in with his cereal when Mr. Bacon was at the door telling Lucy that he needed David. Mr. Bacon showed him a tuft of grey hair. It belonged to a squirrel. Immediately everyone thought it was Conker, but Mr.Bacon said he had failed to grab the squirrel. David made a plan that night that would make Bonnington (the Pennykettle’s cat) a hero.
