David ran inside yelling “FIRE!” and Liz told Lucy to go check and she saw nothing upstairs. They all went upstairs into the Dragons Den and Liz showed David an ornament. ‘It was just a trick of the light’ she said. Lucy went and got David’s dragon. He had a pencil and drawing pad because the dragon didn’t want a book. He was chewing on the end of the pencil deep in thought. Lucy wanted to know if David wrote stories but he said he didn’t. He did say he would go to the library for books on squirrels to see if he could get some clues on how Conker lost he eye.
