David sat down and started reading the story but it was hard to do with all of Lucy’s interruptions. He got through ch. 1 of the story and confessed that he took some nuts from the library’s garden for the trap to catch Conker. Then Lucy said they needed the dragons so she went to get 2 of them. Then she was yelling for David and fell. When David and Liz arrived she was crying and holding pieces of a dragon. Lucy said that she tripped when she was coming to tell David that Mr. Bacon was trying to kill a squirrel. They all looked and saw a squirrel running in circles, like it didn’t know which way it was going, or it was completely blind in one eye.
